Summer, sun, family party on the beach
The German Life Saving Association (DLRG) and its partner NIVEA have been organizing their beach festival tour since 1989 to get children fit around the topic of "water. Every summer, the tour spends one afternoon at selected German seaside resorts on the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts. Also in the Baltic resort of Wustrow around the pier.
Whether Punch and Judy, bathing rules quiz, giant bouncy castle or swinging towels - a colorful program makes children's hearts beat faster. All events take place from 14.00 to 17.00 o'clock. The highlight is a "Joyrobic", which transforms the beach into a blue sea for a short time.
A major fundraiser accompanies the beach festival tour. At the end of each year, donations are doubled by NIVEA. In this way, 100 new lifeboats have been purchased and put into service by the DLRG over the past 20 years.
