Every year, on the last Saturday in July, enthusiasts of the small wooden boat scene meet for a spectacular race on the Wustrow Permin, i.e. right in front of the eyes of interested spectators.
They are Heuer, Polte and net boats between 5 and 7.5 meters in length, all with gaff sails and lovingly restored, with them once the small fishing on the shallow Bodden waters was carried out.
The day is accompanied by a Wustrow flea market with handicrafts and a colorful stage program for young and old.
