Things for kids to do in Wustrow

Wustrow stages two festivals entirely for children each year: De Klabauters children's and youth association organises a festival in springtime between the end of April and the beginning of May, and a festival in autumn on the last Friday in September. In keeping with the season, activities include music, performances and games. Waffles, hot dogs and children's punch are sold at creatively decorated stalls. The annual Wustrow Christmas market on the first Saturday of Advent in the centre of town begins with a children‘s Christmas sing-along led by De Klabauters club members.

A children‘s summer holiday programme organised by De Klabauters includes events every Monday and Wednesday at 3 pm from the beginning of July to the end of August.

On Mondays, join us for an amber treasure hunt on the beach north of the pier (2 EUR per child)

On Wednesdays, we invite all children for arts & crafts on the front lawn of the kindergarten (14 Strandstraße). Wet-weather contingency plan: we meet on the premises of the De Klabauters children’s and youth club.

Looking for a break while strolling around town with the family? Stop in at one of our three themed playgrounds with beautifully carved wooden figures, swings, slides and climbing equipment (located at the harbour, beside the Haus des Gastes and near the beach at the marquee cinema). The marquee cinema itself is also worth a visit – enjoy the special atmosphere and watch inspiring films for children and adults. Keep an eye out for our unique puppet show performances.
