The seaside resort of Wustrow is inextricably connected to the sea and seafaring. For many centuries, the fate of its residents was determined by shipping and fishing, and even today some residents of Wustrow are underway at sea.
To celebrate Wustrow's maritime heritage, we organise a maritime week at the beginning of September every year. Join us for evening lectures on current maritime topics, the open house of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service and interesting tales about the history of seafaring in Wustrow. We have something for everyone; all ages are welcome!
