The "Haus des Gastes" in Wustrow is located in the former imperial post office (built 1895). When the post office moved out after 106 years of operation, the listed building was painstakingly restored. The Wustrow Tourism Information Centre (Kurverwaltung) moved into the historic building in 2003 and has been providing support to visitors searching for accommodations and planning holidays ever since. Rotating exhibitions, lectures and concerts take place in the upper storey. In summer, concerts and performances are also held in the orchard directly behind the building.
