Fischlandhaus is a listed timbered house with a typical North German high hall. The over 200-year-old building houses an art gallery and a charming little library for visitors and residents. In 2010, the historic house was extensively restored and expanded to include an event space. In cooperation with the Kunstmuseum Ahrenshoop, the gallery holds three exhibitions per year. Concerts and readings also take place regularly.
