De Klabauters

De Klabauters is the name of a historic skipper's house located in front of Wustrow‘s modern day-care centre. After extensive restoration, this listed building has become a meeting place for young and old. Two rooms on the ground floor are used by local senior citizens for get-togethers, games and handicrafts. The upper story is home to the children's and youth association De Klabauters. Here, children have the opportunity to get creative, play, make music and celebrate. In summer, activities also take place in the garden and on the beach. Searching for amber along the shoreline is a highlight throughout the year, but is especially popular when amber is washed up to the high tide line after storms.
